Mike is the On-Premise Manager for Johnson Brothers-Mutual Distributing covering the Cape Fear region and is a Certified Wine Educator through the Society of Wine Educators. He and his wife Gennifer have both been volunteering at Paws Place since 2022.
Tony is an engineer and an MBA who retired from ExxonMobil Chemical Company. He has been a volunteer with Paws Place since 2011.
After a 30 year career in Federal law enforcement, Jay and his family retired to the Wilmington area in 2017. A dog lover his entire life, Jay began volunteering at Paws Place in 2018. Jay adopted two Paws Place dogs in 2019.
Ann spent her career in higher education, primarily in the area of resource management (budget, HR and space). She retired from UNCW in 2017 and immediately combined her love of dogs with her desire to volunteer by joining Paws Place. She has owned dogs almost her entire life, usually at least 2 at a time! She recently adopted Nikki from Paws Place in March 2021.
After retiring from Federal law enforcement after 25 years, Kelly became a volunteer at Paws Place in March 2021. She has had dogs most of her life and recently adopted a Paws Place dog in November 2021 to add to her family which includes 2 other pups.
Brittany is a Critical Care Physician Assistant, passionate about all things critical care and resuscitation. But truth be told, there’s nothing that makes her happier than the company of a good dog. She has been a Paws Place volunteer since 2019 where she met her soulmate, Dale. His zest for life and the positive impact he has made on her inspired Brittany to get more involved with Paws Place. In Brittany’s free time, she loves to travel and scuba dive.
Retired REALTOR who has had at least one dog almost her entire life. Robin worked in various fields while living all across the country and is now in the one which pays in puppy kisses!
