Meet Meera!

This 2-year-old, 47-pound Hound and Catahoula mix is a playful, curious girl who is absolutely ready to soak up all the fun summer has to offer. Think warm breezes, long sniff-filled walks, and plenty of outdoor exploring, Meera is here for it all.

She is very food motivated, which makes her a joy to work with and eager to learn new tricks. Treats are definitely the way to her heart, and they help her shine as she builds confidence and shows off how smart she really is.

Meera can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but give her a bit of patience, a calm approach, and maybe a few snacks, and she quickly melts into a sweet, affectionate companion. Once she feels safe, her goofy, loving personality comes right out.

She’s an active girl who loves to stay on the move, whether she’s exploring trails, following every interesting scent on a summer stroll, or stretching out after a day of adventure.

When the day winds down, Meera is all about soaking up affection and enjoying quiet time with her people. She just needs a best friend to share her adventures, her growth, and her sunny days with.
