Hi there, I’m a 5-year-old hound dog who is a little nervous, to be honest. I’m not quite sure how I ended up here, so I hope you’ll excuse my shyness. Before I came here, I was at a county shelter; I was underweight with a lot of skin issues, too. I’ve put quite a bit of weight on and my skin cleared up quite nicely, if I do say so myself. Now that I’m in a new environment, I’m learning to trust the people around here, but it will take me some time. I’m hoping that a family familiar with hounds is in the market for a new, loving friend. It might take me a little while, but I promise I’ll warm up eventually. All I need is the right person to see the sweet, loving dog I am inside.
