Gus is a lovable 4-year-old, 43-pound Hound mix with a goofy personality and a heart full of love. He has completed his heartworm treatment here at Paws Place Dog Rescue and is now enjoying some calm, low-key days as he continues to recover.

He can be a little unsure at first, but with patience and kindness, his sweet personality starts to shine. He would love a peaceful home where he can take things at his own pace, enjoy gentle affection, relaxing walks when cleared, and build a special bond with his person.

Gus would do best with children ages 16 and older.
