My life has been topsy turvy since Hurricane Florence came to town.  My family had to evacuate so they brought me to the shelter saying that they were coming back for me after the storm.  Well, they lost everything and had to make the decision that they couldn’t bring me home because there was no place to go.  So that is how I find myself here at Paws Place.  Wish I could talk to tell these folks what kind of a life I’ve lived before, but I can’t, so I’ll just appreciate everything they are doing for me. That includes getting me to the vet, vaccinations, so to be spayed.  We have also found out I’m heartworm positive.  But I’m told not to worry because I’m a strong girl and they will help me get better.
