Hi. I’m Danica. I came to Paws Place very cautious and worried. The world has not been very kind to me my first year of life, but slowly I’m coming out of my shell and becoming the love bug I am destined to be. I am a happy-go-lucky low-key gal who loves to snuggle. I even found out if I roll over on my back that I can get extra lovings and belly rubs! And have you heard of those things humans call ‘treats’? Oh man, oh man how I love those tasty snacks! As I settle into a routine at Paws Place, I am becoming more relaxed, and the volunteers have worked hard to help me understand that humans can be nice. Now when someone comes in my kennel, I can’s stop wagging my tail! I hope my forever family helps refine my leash manners and can teach me commands… for treats of course!  Speaking of forever families, I am hoping to find someone who will be patient and kind as I figure out that the world is not as scary as I imagined.
