Sweet, Shy, and Serene… All the qualities of a true lady! Hi, my name is Mia, and I may not be the biggest dog, weighing 36 lbs, at Paws Place right now, but I know my heart is the biggest! I have beautiful brown eyes that will look deep into your soul, hoping that you can’t resist my calm nature and dreamy personality. As I settle in and get used to my routine at Paws Place, the humans here have found out that this 4-year-old beauty walks well on a leash, is a great eater and I am housebroken too! WOO HOO! I came in with my friend Bella, who I loved to share my toys with and enjoyed snuggling with on these cool Fall mornings. Bella has been adopted, so now it is my turn to find my forever home! I play well with other dogs and would love another fur mate in the household or someone who can give me leg kicking belly scratches all day long. I am not the social butterfly I’d like to be yet (since I just arrived at Paws Place), but like a butterfly I prefer to take a little extra time for my transformation to become an extraordinary gal!
