Hi. I’m Bonsai. I got my name because bonsai trees are seen as symbols of harmony, balance, patience, and even luck! These are some of the things I am hoping to find on my journey to my forever home. I came to Paws Place very cautious and worried. The world has not been very kind to me my first year of life, but slowly I’m coming out of my shell. I am a happy-go-lucky guy, once I get to know you, and love to get snuggles. I even found out if I roll over on my back that I can get extra lovings! And have you heard of those things humans call ‘treats’? Oh man, oh man how I love those tasty snacks! I have already learned ‘sit’ and ‘down’ and am oh so excited to learn more tricks and commands with my forever family. Speaking of forever families, I am hoping to find someone who will be patient and kind as I figure out that the world is not as scary as I imagined. Do you want to help me be the dog I know I can be?
