Sassy, there are not enough sweet words to describe this lovable hunk of chocolate. She was surrendered to us by a good Samaritan who thought she could take care of her but it was not meant to be. She has had at least 1 litter of puppies in her past that we are aware of. A very distinctive scar on her left hind quarter that looks like lightning may give us a clue to her past. Sassy is so happy to be with people, that it is hard to get a good photo.  She obviously has had a litter or two, but that will soon be a thing of the past. This girl also has heart worms, but we will be taking care of that too.  Come on out to check her out – she is waiting for you.
