Well hey there, y’all — this here is Cody, a handsome red-and-white hound boy with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul you ever did meet. He’s about 5 years old and sittin’ pretty at around 41 pounds (though we’re helpin’ him fill out those ribs with some good groceries and TLC!). Now, Cody’s a bit of a shy fella at first — bless his heart — but once he realizes you’re one of the good ones, he’ll warm right up and show you what a loyal, gentle companion he can be. He’s heartworm positive, but don’t you worry — he’s gettin’ the care he needs and takin’ it all in stride like the brave boy he is. With a kind word and a soft hand, Cody will steal your heart faster than sweet tea disappears on a hot summer day.

Cody will not be able to go home until after his neuter date (TBD), but you can still come on down to Paws Place to meet this tenderhearted hound — he’s ready for his second chance and a forever home full of love. ❤️🐶

We are open Tues-Sat 10am-2pm.
