Volunteer Application

All volunteers will be required to attend an information session.

While we appreciate someone wanting to volunteer, we would like for he/she to be able to volunteer at least 9 hours per month on an ongoing basis. This is our policy due to the administrative workload associated with training new volunteers as well as coordinating the daily volunteer schedule.

Building maintenance (hours vary) - Carpentry, painting, power washing, general building upkeep Dog Walking - Essential service at the kennel, 3 hour shifts Event Planning - Includes 2 annual events each year - Golf Tournament and Raise the Ruff. Varied meet and greet opportunities throughout the year. Event planning and coordination. Fundraising - Solicit donors, sponsors, auction items, etc. Landscape Maintenance - Mowing, weeding, gardening, etc. Laundry - Essential service at the kennel, 3 hour shifts Photography/Videography

Building maintenance - Describe specific areas of interest, skills

Event planning - Indicate willingness to serve on events committee and describe past relative experience.

Fundraising - Describe willingness to serve on committee; obtain sponsorships, auction items, etc for events. Any grant writing experience? If so, please describe.

Landscape maintenance - Describe familiarity with various equipment, experience, etc.

Photography/Videography - Describe level of experience.

Communications (hours vary) - Describe specific skills, experience
