Paws Place Dog Rescue Volunteer Program
Thank you for your interest to volunteer with Paws Place Dog Rescue. We are so glad that you chose to participate in our Volunteer Program.
We are located at 242 George II Hwy in Winnabow, which is about (15 minutes), 17 miles south of downtown Wilmington.
Volunteers are highly valued within our organization, as you are the ‘heart beat’ to keep us going. We want your experience to be safe, fun, and rewarding as possible.
While we appreciate someone wanting to volunteer, we would like for he/she to be able to volunteer at least 9 hours per month on an ongoing basis. This is our policy due to the administrative workload associated with training new volunteers as well as coordinating the daily volunteer schedule.
All volunteers will be required to attend an orientation PRIOR to their first day of volunteering. At orientation, all volunteers will sign and agree to abide by our Volunteer Agreement.
*Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
